The ASIS CPP preparation program is ideal for those security professionals who are seeking an intensive boot-camp to aid their ASIS CPP exam preparation, to gain the board-certified accreditation.
The five classroom days are trainer-led and focus on testing learners, using exam papers, to identify strengths and weaknesses. This allows targeted study in the weaker areas before sitting a final mock exam with questions similar to those found in previous CPP exams.
The CPP exam consists of 200 scored multiple-choice questions and may contain 25 “pre-test” (unscored) questions randomly distributed throughout the examination for a total of 225 questions. The time allowed takes into consideration the review of pre-test items. It covers tasks, knowledge, and skills in seven broad domains that have been identified by CPPs as the major areas involved in security management.
Learners will be expected to have already purchased copies and read through the ASIS reference material prior to the start of classroom study.
