A Threat Management Team (TMT) is an interdisciplinary team typically comprised of Human Resources, Security, Legal, and other key stakeholders. The TMT has primary responsibility for developing and implementing the Workplace Violence Prevention and Intervention Program. They will receive, investigate and resolve reports made under the Workplace Violence Prevention Policy. Members of the Threat Management Team should receive the most detailed and comprehensive training regarding the behavioral and psychological aspects of workplace violence, violence risk screening, investigatory and intervention techniques, incident resolution, and multi-disciplinary case management strategies. CPPS TMT Training incorporates lecture, case examples and practical exercises in preparing teams to work together through the incident management process.
