Safe Church Program
Tier 2
This section of the training is designed to broaden your understanding of behavioral awareness to know what sort of actions indicate a possible threat, give some of the scriptural basis for this program, and empower you to have a plan for what to do if a violent incident occurs in your midst.
Tier 3
This section of the training is designed to help you identify the primary sources of threats in our environment, know what the typical pathway to violence looks like, and enable a skill set for de-escalation of heated encounters.
Tier 4
This section of the training is the most intricate and is designed to identify the rolls needed in an effective multi-disciplinary Threat Management Team for your assembly, train the candidates of that team, and enable them to function within the culture of your church community.
Travel
This section of the training is optional and covers some excellent information on travel safety and security. If you do not have an actual Travel Protocol for your organization, this is a great training to review some Best Practices and Procedures in the travel industry.
De-escalation
This section of the training is additional to some of the information shared in Tier 3. This is a deeper understanding of how to help people that are in a distressed state. This section of training is highly recommended for Security and Safety Team members and upper level leaders who may be called on to help resolve heated encounters.
Crime Prevention
This section of the training is optional and covers some excellent information on crime prevention and response. You’ll learn about the fundamentals of awareness for personal security, how to avoid becoming the target of criminal activity, and what courses of action to take for responding to dangerous situations.
